I am on the list at a dealer in Houston for an M2 CSL should it come to the US. Silver grey matching my old CSL is the first choice.

There is no way a turbocharged M2 will be able to touch the glorious sound of an airbox equipped S54 though.

Unless they made the CSL at a different factory you can't do individual on any of the 2-series cars. That factory is not equipped.

Exactly, someone didn't get the memo.
Not unless the M2 "CSL" will be produced in another facility. And that is a big if. Let alone the fact that it will possibly be more limited than a regular M2, and even if it comes here in the first place.

Or just flat ignored the memo entirely. Haven’t been paying that much attention to BMWs lately. I don’t see why they’d bring the M4 GTS to the US and not the M2 CSL.

Either way, got a spot on the list in case they build it. If they don’t then I am not too bothered. Will pick up an e46 M3 and just build into a track car as I’d love another e46 any way.

The reasoning why it may not come here is because it might be very limited and possibly only a track version. Apparently will look like a less extreme version of the Vision GT6. This was posted before.



Which means that it seems like the M2 hardcore model (we don't know if it will be called "CSL") will be more extreme than the M4 GTS.
Hopefully it does come here.
