I read the front page before reading the actual article. I still think we might see something at Pebble Beach. The picture SCOTT26 posted of Kermit in front of the Golden Gate Bridge with "August" plastered over it is what leads me to that. I know Carmel by the Sea is about an hour from San Fran, but the event is in August... so maybe?

I always thought that the M4 GTS was going to be unveiled at Pebble. Unless they decide to drop both there, that would be epic.

The only thing that worries me about Frankfurt is that BMW have already released so many important cars online (7er, X1, Clubman) that I'm kind of scared that they might hold out the M2 for the show after that. But then again, BMW were almost non-existent in previous shows this year so that would definitely make up for it. Frankfurt would be the perfect stage to go nuts.

True that. But we've made it this far, so another month or two, especially with all these new sightings coming out should go by quick.

But then it'll be torture waiting to find out what the MSRP on this thing will be

The IAA is the bi-annual autoshow and also the German industries home show.
Therefore the stakes are raised against the home competition.
The IAA is the worlds most important industry event.
A look at IAA 2013. Wait till you see what's planned for 2015.
