The online tracker is now showing me at the dealer! Hopefully that means she's waiting for me at the Performance Center!
The automated phone message has gone from "waiting for a vessel" to "in transit", which is pretty vague, all things considered.

This has been a far off deal for a while. Somehow that online status change moved things way up in my mind. I'm getting physically antsy now. My wife is going to have to peel me off the ceiling by next weekend.

Congrats! I'm as excited as you are - my first BMW!

I was on the Oregon Trail too, and awaiting my PCD date on April 10, but mine is still showing the "Finishing Touches" status.

Tomorrow is my appointment at the local dealer to pay for the car... So weird to me that I have to pay now, two weeks before picking it up. Also, had to insure it today, so the dealer could get the new plates for me. And, the insurance agent advised my wife that should anything happen to the car in the next two weeks, it would be my problem to deal with.

But I'm not worried about that. I'm sure BMW would make good on anything negative that happens before I get there.

Any other 2 Addicts doing a PCD on April 10? Would love to meet up!

My first BMW as well. I'm a cheapskate, so I've stayed at the lower end of the market (Probe GT, then my RX-8) until my wife convinced the that it was OK to spend the money. She's good like that.

My insurance agent just told me to call when the time comes and I'm still awaiting the final paperwork from the dealer to pay. I'm having a nightmare that things fall through the cracks and they won't let me have my car! I'll be renting a Corolla to drive back to Virginia.

I'll have to see if they let me peek at the cars waiting to be delivered - you're white/coral/manual, right? It's too bad we didn't catch the same day; that would've been fun.

Yes, mine is AW/CR manual, with some M Performance accessories: black kidney grills, rocker panel decals, and exhaust w/rear diffuser.

Looks like the Oregon Highway docked in Baltimore this morning! How long does it usually take to get the cars out of customs from the port? I hear a couple of days?

I'm not sure how long it takes to clear, but it does seem that most members are getting their cars before the estimates the dealer gives out.

I realized that while I'm waiting for PCD (just 3 more days!), the Oregon Highway is going to lap me and show up at Charleston again on the 6th. It's like the tortoise and the hare all over. I told my CA I feel like a kid before Christmas. I'm sleeping like crap from the anticipation.

I head down to Spartanburg tomorrow. Some chance of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday for the drive back, but it looks good overall. I can't wait!

Heard my car (Ordered 2/28/15) is in Brunswick and just finished processing. Scheduled to arrive in San Antonio, TX Dealership on 4/12/15. Assuming no last minute delays, it's not a bad wait, about 6 weeks.

I did before starting the 1875-mile trip. I had to delay the trip a couple of days to allow proper "curing" of both XPEL Ultimate and window tint.

XPEL really does work. It took some minor grease-elbow, car wash detergent/lukewarm water and clean microfiber cloth to take off the grim.

A quick post to say I finally got her today! The Performance Center was a fantastic experience and I love the car. I'll post more pics in a couple days, but here's a couple:

In front of the Delivery area.

On the sidewalk in front of the BMW Museum. They encourage delivery cars to park there. I had a family walk up and rave about the car and ask a lot of questions after I parked it - as if the day weren't cool enough.
