Hey guys,

First off. Wow. Coming from the Mazdaspeed Forums this place is a paradise. I am really excited that there is a community that doesn't take every chance to belittle someone just looking for info.

Anyways, I ordered my first BMW ever! Coming from a bunch of Mazdaspeeds, WRX's, 240's, and RX-7's. After driving a BMW I now understand what the fuss is about.

-suggestions: ordering summer tires (free option), if you are willing to do summer/winter setup

-tech package, this has extended instrument cluster, and other goodies...

-price wise, lowest price most people have gotten is 6-7% off MSRP, $1000 over invoice is easily do able.... from my experience...

- if you are willing to DIY install for m performance parts, you may order them from Brian at sun motors bmw, they have : Black Kidney Grills , CF Gear Shifter, Carbon Fiber Interior Trim, CF Hand Break, at 30-40% off msrp, plus $100-$300 rebate thru 4/30....

Very nice build! Can't wait to see the car once you receive it! I would say get rid of the HK sound system and use the money towards an exhaust system. You would definitely prefer the sound of an aggressive exhaust note over music! Also, I heard the HK Sound System was kind of let down for the price on the M235i but I wouldn't know personally, as i don't even have it LOL

Thanks for the replies. I totally spaced on what I was doing.

Lease 36 month 10k miles. Is 4% MF not good? My credit is good/great.
I have not leased any cars until now.

Had 4 mazdaspeed 3's for the past 7 years. One gen1 and 3 Gen2's. Time to move on haha. Great cars. Current one is fast but I need a better balance.
I have heard the HK system and while it's not mind blowing im a huge music guy and could not live with the normal one ha. I plan to get the M exhaust early next year. As for the M performance stuff I don't know how hard/easy it would be to do it all myself but figured just get the car how I want it day one. I'll check that guy out for sure for future purchases though!

I plan to rock the winter / summer set up but coming off a trip to New Zealand in September I figure I'll wait until next season to figure it all out. Thanks for the tips! These cars aren't very available in Utah. Was hard to haggle them just to that ha. :/

The current money factor is .0013 which I believe converts to 3.11% so you should be able to do a little better.

As for the selling price, I think you can do better there too. The MSRP of my M235 was 51,425 and I was able to negotiate a selling price of 48,200 which is about $500 over invoice.

If you haven't signed on the dotted line you can still negotiate but overall it's not ideal after putting a deposit, they know you want to buy already...

I guess that depends on the details of the contract you signed. The dealer might try to avoid you, since wouldn't want to negotiate a lower price with you.

ask them what is your Money Factor, the base MF is .0013 for april 2015, dealer is allowed to mark it up by .0004, looks like 4% interest is .0016. If you have great credit, then you can get base MF. The MF markup is straight profit for dealer.

I got a similar deal as lukin.

if you are willing to negotiate or shop around, you should be able to get a lower selling price....

Great information! Thanks guys. So I asked about my MF and they did better. I also got them to add the Tech package. So I think they met me half way because my payment went up just 30$. I'm happy with where everything is at. Will stop bugging them now. Cannot wait for this car.
