Well, for one thing, VEDC, in a significant way, is about the use of light weight construction materials. All sorts of light weight materials. And how that improves performance.
Maybe what we are being provided here is a, somewhat, arcane hint the car will be composed of lots of light weight materials. More, let's say, than the usual carbon fiber dash board trim and rear view mirror caps.

Despite the remaining camo, I think know how it actually looks - and I like it.
Various posters have done detailed examinations of every camo area of the mules. The renderings that have been produced, IMO, are accurate representations of the cars design. So, when I see it fully unveiled, I expect the effect of the design, on me, is not going to be all that surprising and may end up being, somewhat, anti-climactic.
The surprises I'm waiting for are those under the skin, so to speak. The weight, the suspension, the engine and its components, and the performance they promise. That, for me, is what's left to like.

I think this is a hint to the weight reduction we are hoping to see between the M2 and M235i.

Agility is the reason I want this car, power is nice but I have no where to use it.

If the M2 is more aerodynamic, weights 150kg less, and is more agile, has less drag than the M235i I will be super pumped. GIVE ME EfficientDynamics!

The idea of it debuting in Frankfurt is exciting. Being given such a prominent stage makes me think BMW is excited about this car and its potential.

It also means that I should be able to see it in November in LA before it hits the showrooms? That would be great.
