I'll be ordering my 228i M-Sport, if everything goes right, in mid-June. My dealer tells me that's just about the time he'll be able to place orders on the MY 2016.

Right now, there isn't an order sheet available - but I got to wondering what other people on the forum would like to see - options, packages, deletions, on the new model that isn't there on the 2015's.

I have a list but I'll wait to see what everyone else thinks.

I wish the highlights were available for either the 228 or 235 with leather seats other than the white ish interior. Wish the color combinations for the interiors were less limiting. Also wish Valencia Orange was a M-Sport package color choice. Maybe get rid of Halogens and make Angel Eyes standard. Keyless entry standard would be nice as well. The Nav being standard is pretty neat.

Yes, Xenons are standard. LED's may be made available after the LCI.

Well that is to be expected...northern states are the same way. Almost every car on the lot is X Drive.

Not for the trim in 2015 M235's. It is with the M sport packages for the 228, 428, and 435. The only option in the US is piano black.

I don't think BMW chooses what cars go to each dealer. I thought the dealers build their own models to what they think will sell in their market. That's why when you order a build, it gets put front of the line for your dealership. It takes the place of one of the cars they were going to build to put on their lot.

Sounds to me like you're describing an M2.

Sounds to me like you're also describing an M2. BMW has to be careful with what they do with the 235 because it'll cannibalize the M2 sales.

Without getting into 'what the M2 should have' territory, I think LED lights and a HUD would about sum it up for me, aside from having a couple new interior color options.

Everytime I see a xDrive BMW 2/4 Series coupe. I puke a little in my mouth.
