Exhaust flapper valve?

I did a search for flapper valve and didn't find the answer I was looking for.

I'm trying to figure out how to keep both sides of the exhaust open at all times. I'm guessing even in sport mode, one side is still closed until 3,000 RPM? I know there's something to unplug, but I'm not exactly sure where that piece is. Also, I read something about a Golf Tee mod for the exhaust??

Thanks for any help

Whenever I start my car, the flapper stays closed for about 5 minutes. It then opens up and stays open.

Easy just put it in sport and turn off the car

Then look if the valve is open, then unplug the cable.

Now it stays open

^ Thats the fastest and cheapest option
If you are using the JB4 or the BMS valve controller you can close it or open at anytime while your in inside your car.

No codes on your tach.

The plug is on the driver's side pipe. You won't/can't miss it when you're under the car.

It's a 3 min job, unplug and tape the head and tape it to the side

ok. So as long as your in Sport mode, the flapper valve is always open? Or does it only open in sport mode after a certain RPM?

Pretty sure it stays open in sport/sport+. Closed in comfort but will open when you get on it. Closed in eco as well. Seems like even in eco if you really mash the pedal it will open.
