I got that last week too! I gave it to one of my daughters. I have her convinced that it works to unlock my car just like my key fob (she's 4, and can't open the door without me). She loves it!

Just ordered one from Turner Motorsports. And yes, the lidded ashtray thingy just slips right out.

I have NOT measured but the Pono DMP looks like it would fit nicely in the tray once installed and be a pretty clean and easy install for those looking for lossless content.

That's my spot for my extra gauge cluster/repurposed cell phone; the rubber insert works great for that.
