Daylight Saving Time Adjustment Today

I noticed that when I got in my 2016 M235i with Nav this morning, that the time, both on the dash display and in the split nav. screen time display was exactly one hour ahead. The only way I could change it was to uncheck the automatic time set box and manually change the time back one hour. Did anyone else experience this today or anyone have any idea why it would do that since Daylight Saving Time doesn't begin until this coming Sunday. I an in the Central Time zone.

Odd, will make a note of mine. Odd that it starts so soon. Odd that we have it at all. Odd.

If your iDrive option sets the time via the NAV/GPS system, it would appear that the GPS satellites have a different point at which they are changing to DST. I'll have to check the wife's car when she gets home today and see if it's a "global" thing.

Just checked mine, time still correct for CST so I expect the adjustment to CST - DST this weekend.

Checked the wife's 228i with EVO Navigation and it's correct for EST.

The twice-a-year time changes really suck!

DST in Europe doesn't change until the 25th of March, so I'm not sure what's going on here

Yep, for those who live is south AL and commute to North Florida, it will be welcomed by some...when AL goes off of DST and FL is still on, we get up an hour earlier but get home an hour earlier as well, OK with me...

My 2018 240i did NOT make the DST change; I had to do it manually. Do I have some setting wrong?

P2,

Thanks. Looking at time date originally, when I manually reset the time, I thought that automatic update was engaged. This time, I clicked on it, and now it looks as if it really is engaged.
