Rolls-Royce have come up with an interesting convertible option of a hard, secure tonneau cover:



which I think looks quite good and is probably quite aerodynamic. I wondered if there was anything similar available for the 2 Series?

There is a UK company that makes a much cheaper alternative to the BMW wind deflector but that's all I can find.

As far as I can see, you can still close the top with the hard cover in place, which is quite clever and an interesting alternative to the deflector.

Ford did this years ago for the first few years of their 4 seat thunderbird. Don’t remember if it was early 60s. Interesting concept. I don’t think I’ve seen it since then.
