Steering question 230i w/ Track Package vs M240i

Has anyone tried these two configurations back to back?

228i/230i when optioned with Track Handling Package comes with VSS (variable steering), which makes it super responsive and tight.

How does the 6 cylinder version's steering compare in terms of ratio? THP is not available on the 6 cyl model.

I have driven an M235i a loooong time ago and honestly cannot remember how it compared to VSS.

THP is not available as an option on the M235i/M240i, because it is standard equipment.

The ZHP option (Track Handling Package) has always only been available on the 228/230 models. It basically makes any 228i/230i equivalent to an M235i/M240i in all ways except the drivetrain. That includes the predictive suspension, variable steering, M Sport brakes, and (in many markets, and only on non-'verts) an extra auxiliary oil cooler.

Put another way: no M235/240 has ever been built for street use that didn't have all of those things above.
