Correct, same with my F30. The "light bar" is LED but the brake lights and blinkers are standard bulbs.

Is it just me or this is blue color not the same one from U.S. configurator? The one from the configurator is much lighter than this one.. less royal blueish.

Is there a difference between EB and EBII? Maybe the configurator has EB up there? A friend of mine has a 428i with the same color as the configurator, but it looks nothing like these pictures.

Not feeling the Audi-esque silver mirrors.

BMW had a good thing going on with its own M-mirrors, very distinctive.

Even if this is not a full M-car, the "M-technik" mirrors would've been much more appropriate than to imitate the Audi theme.

EB II gives off different shades. It all depends on lighting.

IMO, best color in the lineup, but I'm probably biased

BMW had silver mirrors a long time ago. BMW did not copy AUDI as maybe you'd like to think.

Looks great, for the most part, but the cut line on the hood kills me.

The car looks fantastic.

IMO, it was pure evil genius on BMW's part to not offer the DCT tranny in this car. I will definitely be buying an F80 or F82 instead...even though I really want the 2er for a daily driver. I cannot go back to an AT.

I hope you're not talking about circa pre-1990s era BMWs where chrome/silver accents were commonplace.

But if you're talking about comparatively contemporary BMWs, then i might've caught the case of BMW fanboyism, as I did not know this.
Care to share some examples?

Ah, i see what you mean here but chrome/silver mirrors on cars from that era were commonplace across all makes, similar to the black & CF trims popular today so it wouldn't be exactly correct to say it was a BMW design cue.

Additionally, they [silver mirrors on BMWs] disappeared across the BMW lineup in a 20+ year long hiatus and now seemingly returned on the M235i.
While the silver mirrors might not be a direct rip-off of Audi-style mirrors, it certainly gives off that impression since contemporary BMW design language abandoned it long ago while Audi made it kind of their signature since at least 10 years ago.

Needless to say, not really feeling it.

Very subjective, as I think the BMW interiors are about 100x better than the MB, especially the "floating" nav display. Ugh.

Yes this hood cut line on all the modern BMWs is terrible. Sticks out like a sore thumb.

Also cannot stand this crap about waiting for LCI to put on full LED lighting. It's 2014, BMW. NO ONE ELSE pulls this "wait 2-3 years for LEDs" silliness.

I agree; US Configurator shows very different color. Definitely have to check out EB in person, in my opinion.

I would pick this darker blue over Estoril blue I as it is too light. Gonna be a toss up between Melbourne red and EB I guess, EBII nowhere to be found.
