Yeah, that's a smart move dude. The Premium stuff is nice to have, but certainly not worth $3000.

Agree about the leatherette. I have leatherette on my GLI, and don't shoot me for saying this, but, I can hardly tell the difference in quality from leather ! I mean leatherette looks and feels just as good !

Some people (like me) just can't live without that stuff ... (I really want the autodimming mirrors and Sat. radio), though, so they have no choice but to overspend, knowing that they're paying much more than the stuff is worth.

BTW - Congrats on finally being able to show an authentic signature pic !!!

The premium is great if money's no object. If I could get everything - leather for half the price (since leather makes up 50% of the cost), I would have probably sprung for it.

I realized however that even the trunk doesn't spring open by itself without this package...

Currently in an F30 w Prem Pkg, I will also forgo it from here on out on future BMW's and most certainly my next one a 228i. Enjoy yours in good health

I have to agree with Xiaoxi. I prefer the leatherette to the leather. It's durable and hard wearing. I wish there was a package that gave the auto dimming mirrors / etc without having to add leather. There was a time when BMW offered each option individually.

Ha ha! You would think I went Alpine considering my user name. That was the color I wanted before I saw Estoril blue (when I bought my F30 in 2012). I'm going with Estoril again. We have an Alpine white Z4 too so I can enjoy that color and my Estoril at the same time.
