Awesome car!

I suggest add M Performance carbon fiber trunk spoiler, H&R Sport lower springs and maybe VMR in gunmetal color

Congrats!

Beautiful car op - congrats and nice work on the mods..

I have the Pirelli C's on my X3...Got 27k miles on em and now they are in need of replacing...And I am not a driver hard on cars..

Just a heads-up to put some of that mod $$ away for tires in 2 years.. Very unhappy with the Pirelli Cinturato's

Yep, I skipped this option because I knew I would be running the stock wheels in the winter, and my 19's in the summer... but if I planned on keeping the stock wheels/tires I would get the summer stagger option.

Thanks man! Ya... they weren't the best while I was running them, but hopefully they do OK for a winter setup.

I asked to have them changed but they said it was already too late (the car had already started production)

Whatever I guess I could try selling them and buying new...

You mean staggered as in the wheel sizes are different in the rears?

So if you get the all-season Pirelli's you don't get the staggered wheels as well?

That's good to know. I want staggered but I also want all seasons. I guess I will get the staggered and look to replacing the tires once they come in.

It's not very clear on the build page if you are getting staggered with all seasons on the XDrive.

Thanks again for the info.

Ride height is a question for me too. I have driven the xdrive, but they did not have another M235i on the lot. Still trending toward RWD as I don't feel the Xdrive is worth the $1800 premium (I'm coming from an Audi, so quattro has a completely different feel). Plus, I don't want to add more weight to the nose than is already present.
I saw an Xdrive and a RWD one parked side by side, the xdrive looked slightly higher (like maybe 5-6mm max) but I'm not sure if it's because of differences in the road or maybe the car settings? But yes, it was higher... Definitely needs a drop

The sales guy told me it was the first time they have seen published specs for RWD and xDrive having the same height and suspension. Part of what sold me on it, I really could not see a difference in wheel gap or ride height. You also have to consider the skinny rear wheels on the xDrive make it look less flush. You can probably find the specs somewhere... He told me they used the same part numbers... but hey, he was selling a car... who knows.

Yes, it needs a drop regardless... even the RWD needs a drop.

So great that I can actually watch the oil temp and see when the car is warm, etc.

Literally 5 minute plug and play install.

Took video of the install, will post here also.

Edit: Updated with a better photo I just took

Edit: Updated with install video

I am thinking of getting one too, for oil temps.
Which one to order? My 2015 M235i is from US. Should I order the "left hand" version? and option "Pre-installed in OEM Vent" yes or no?
