Yes, this is true one thing I hate about my 2016 M235. SPEED LIMITER TO 135 mph. My previous 335I had a decent 155. and YES, I have floored it to 135 on a safe highway and is frustrating knowing you have much more and can not get it.

If you get the summer performance tire option you have the 155 limiter; and if you tried running 135 on RFT all-seasons you're taking some serious chances. There is no such thing as a 'safe highway' for 135, just some obviously empty ones.

There's bound to be multiple outfits out there selling tunes that delete the speed limiter. Yes, that means you'll be able to run north of the artificial limit of 155, too. Where will you do it?
