Finally here - My 228i M Sport

Placed my order back on May 8th and the day has finally arrived . Got a "surprise" text from my sales guy this morning with some goodies. I'm at work and can't wait to pick her up. Lots of mods planned. More pics as well . Woohoo

That's damn quick. I dropped off my car in Munich on May 7th and still don't know when it's going to be here. So frustrating!

Finally picked it up. First impression: Absolutely awesome.
Quick, responsive, and can I say, stunning to look at. So many people turning their heads in awe how beautiful the car really is in person. Pictures don't do it justice. First small mod done already by replacing the shifter and shifter console trim with the carbon parts. Next on the list is the painted reflectors, m performance pedals, grill, and tint. Will see where to go from there.

Beautiful car! I love Alpine White which is what I have ordered also. I love the red seats! I ordered black Dakota seats and keep wondering if I should have ordered oyster Dakota seats. The red interior really looks sporty and fun with the white exterior! Please post more pictures when you do the mods! Enjoy! Congratulations!

Guys, I recently purchased MW/CR M235i, and looking at this red color i am totally worried. I like how the red looks in second guy's car, but the original poster red color is way too flashy and i hope it us just a photo contrast was boosted. Could you guys let me know what the real coral red looks like? Is it that bright as on the first picture??

I need to say i saw coral red on 235i in person and it looked nothing like this poster's red on a picture. i hope they haven't changed it to this flashy red.

I will be taking more pictures soon with some additional mods. The red interior IMO is wonderful. Gotten so many compliments already and I just dont think its too flashy. I dont know if you have ever seen the chestnut brown interior which is leaning more towards the redish side, i think its comparable but obviously a bit more red. But again, everything is relative but I think its just perfect.

Do you think it is exactly the same in real life as it appeared on the pucture, that you took? Or do you find a picture oversatirated?

I tested a MW/CR 228i last weekend and while I've never really been a fan of the red interior, I found it to be just sublime. Wasn't over done, the red seats and inserts with black everywhere else were fantastic on the inside and looking at it from the outside they went so well with the white.

On a personal note, this is my first post. I've lurked for a while but finally made an account since I'm picking up my black on black 228i this weekend!!! Can't wait!

Mods I see: grill, mirrors, reflectors, cf interior trim. All look great! Nice legs in that last picture, too. . .

Nice looking car, I like the looks of the 228i M more than the M235i, it's a pity you can't have those wheels and colour coded mirrors on the M235i from the factory, who actually likes those grey mirrors?

Thanks for the positive comments. The car looks great IMO especially with the red leather. It just stands out and keeps turning heads haha. You are spot on as far as the mods are concerned. One thing probably not so obvious and hard to see is spacers. I have 12mm front and 15mm rear. I was reluctant to put them on but my friend was pushing me and ended up putting them on. Looks pretty good I think, no regrets. Today I also installed the Performance pedals as well as the side splitters/blades. I'll try to take some pictures. The only thing left is the m235i performance diffuser and m235i performance exhaust fitted onto my 228i. Not sure when I'm going to do it though.
