What would be great is if we could get a really good "down the side" shot, with some point of reference to help determine how big of an ass (aka, the flares) this girl is going to have.

you have to think that the fact that we are seeing more and more mules would signal an imminent reveal, yes?

Is that hard line above the headlights new for the 2ers? I don't remember seeing it before. Sorta makes the kidney grill jump out. Less rounded.

Well.. there are photos from both sides..... so don't think it's a viewpoint issue.

It looks to me like the M2 is shorter in length, and slightly taller in height than the M4.

Didn't the 1M vs. the E9x look the same?

I don't think anyone has noticed the RHD M4.

The M235 Mule has been running around Munich.. I recognize the green sticker in the lower left of the windshield.......
Agree.. Nice catch on the right hand driver...

The green sticker on the M235 is in the lower RIGHT hand side of the windshield.... (lower left of the photo)
The most accurate way to state it's location is the * lower passenger side* of the windshield.. (ask me how I know!)

That shot was taken with a relatively short focal length (wide angle) lens, so there's a lot of perspective distortion. The M2 will be very close to the M235i in exterior dimension.

The height of the M235i is 55.8 inches, while the M4 is 54.4 inches. The M2 will have a lower ride height because of it's suspension setup, so it will be close to the M4 in overall height.

The big difference is in length. The M235i is 174.5 in, and the M4 183.9 in. The shorter length of the 2-series makes it look taller because of its proportions.

Lastly, the curvature of the roof on the 2-series has a smaller radius, which gives it a more upright appearance.

You're correct, I thought that was the original photo in the post I quoted - missed that.

Anyone notice the shadowing here? Looks like there is definitely an indentation just ahead of the rear fender cutout. SCOTT26 has remarked that queues from the Vision GT car are going to make in to the M2 design, and the Vision GT concept has a giant air vent there.

Compared to the 1 series Coupe you are correct. But they have grown on me. The 1ers rear just has more character overall.

YES. I notcied that too. It is eerily similar to that vent. And it's quite odd for the shading to fall that way without an underlying foot print which resembles that vent. Very strange.....

M2 CSL?
