This was just (a week ago - thx alz0rz) posted over on N54tech. Anyone try it yet?

The last thread for v3.2 was a success with user reviews.

N55_FSERIES_EWG_3_3:

1) Changed map 1 to additive map that targets around 4psi over stock maximum, suitable for unmodified cars, lower grade fuels, etc.
2) Changed map 2 to additive map that targets around 6psi over stock maximum, equivalent to the previous map 2. Suitable for most modified cars on 93+ octane, PPK equipped cars, etc.

3.3 was actually posted last week, I've been using it since then with Map 2. Not sure why he says that the target is '6 psi over stock, eqv to map 2', when the previous Map 2 was only 4 psi over stock. At any rate... yes, it feels that much stronger.

I'm hitting 15.7psi in 3rd gear on map 1 in FW v3.2.

Have you run any logs on v3.3?

Also it seems some on N54tech are getting drivetrain malfunctions. Any with you?

IIRC Terry at BMS advised that v3.3 map 2 is the same as v3.2 map 1.

v3.3 map 1 toned down a tad to be more tolerate of fuel grades.......

Does anyone notice from v3.2 and on, the Exhaust Flap Control won't keep the flap open?

I've gotten no drivetrain errors. There is no way Map 2 on 3.3 is the same as Map 2 on 3.2.

So what would be is the distinction be between Map 1 and 2 now?

Oh, I see what you are trying to say now.

So should 2) say '... equivalent to previous map 1.'?

Haha yeah that's it...does your exhaust flap stay open with v3.2 or v3.3?

Can't seem to get an answer on this. My 235 and a buddy with v3.2 on a 435 flaps only stay open for 10-15 seconds then close again.

So I've never enabled/used the JB4 flap feature.. I just let the car do it's thing.. are you saying the JB4 is overriding stock behavior or that the feature is not working correctly?

JB4 should be overriding the standard feature either with flap always open as option 1 or flap as OEM as option 2.

It's not functioning correctly in that with either option enabled, even when you force it open, it will still close after x amount of time.

Ok how do I know what setting it is on? How do I change settings? I'm a 6MT.

Hmm I am not getting any verifiable confirmation that something changed.. I just revved up to 2000 rpm and held it and tried holding down the voice button for seconds at a time

In comfort mode in idle you should hear an audible electronic sounding movement of the valve. You only need to hold the voice command button for about 2 seconds.

Yep, I definitely can hear the valve opening or closing per normal operation in Sport mode but at idle now and in Comfort mode the Voice Command button does nothing for my car.. hmm.

I was actually just trying to figure this out myself...it will open and then close after 10-15 seconds as well.

On another note of those of you running this, getting malfunctions? I'll probably be updating later tonight.
