JB4 EWG Harness install question

I have tried searching through here, youtube, and good ole google and i can not find an answer. I cannot locate the connection point for the JB4 EWG harness. where do the ends with no plugs connect and where is the connection point for the end with the actual connection on it? Pictures would be awesome. I tried looking at motor diagrams of the n55 and can not find a answer. thank you.

Do you have an older kit in which you're updating? If so, there are diagrams and photos on n54tech that show how to wire the ewg harness in. I could take some photos if you still need help, but it's all on there from what I remember..

No its a brand new kit just came in last week from X-PH. Strange it skips right over it on install directions on the burger tuning website.

Here you go! Just installed mine couple days ago. I had to research on F30 forums to get answers. It's by the passenger side.. and is a complete pain to reach. Make sure to do it when the engine is cold. Good luck

The EWG harness is hard to access and hard to unclip. Once i accessed it i used a 90 degree pick, slid it underneath the tab that releases the clip and unclipped the harness. Once the harness is unclipped there should be enough slack to move around and get jb4 ewg harness tied in. I also used heat wrap around the new EWG harness wiring due to it being so close to the manifold and turbo/wastegate.

Look down through the opening near the coolant reservoir look on an angle toward the front of the car through this opening along side the engine under the exhaust manifold you can see the wire with the heat shield is the EWG wire.

Not sure if my xdrive made a difference in space but it's a tight spot to slide your hand down and the angle to unclip the connector was a real pain. After 30mins I gave up and drove around with the JB4 for a week without the EWG connected. That weekend I was installing my DP and while I had it on the lift it was easier to go at it from under the car and disconnect. That was my experience but that's how I did it. Drpoomanchu photos are spot on and accessed passenger side of engine bay. Good luck
