MPE or Akropovic in Raleigh area
If anyone has a MPE or Akropovic exhaust on an M235 in Raleigh/Durham/CH and you don't mind me coming out and hearing it please send me a message. Thanks

Akra don't make one for m235i I'm pretty sure, MPE is not too much difference incab, I feel it's perfect compromised between comfort and sporty when paired MPE with a downpipe.

Akra has one now for the M240i, though I'm not sure if it's compatible with the m235i. Anyone know?

Correct - there is no official akrapovic exhaust for the M235i.
I have a custom made akrapovic on mine, sounds great. I'd suggest going for the MPE or a Remus etc unless you want to pay quite a lot of money! |

Just to follow up on this I did meet up with Boneman who was kind enough to both meet me and give me a ride in his car and I really liked the MPE. Will be picking one up in due course. I'm not an exhaust expert, but I thought it sounded way better than the stock exhaust, but not boy-racerish. [edited - may have been considered age-discriminatory to 26 year olds

Get it, you'll love it. Just had mine installed the same time my Bavsound complete upgrade was done. I haven't been listening to the speakers much.
