I ordered mine towards the end of last year. Welds and overall impression out of the box was very positive. Shipping was right when promised. Packaging/bubble wrap was over-kill . I was anxious to get her installed, but life got in the way.

I finally got it installed by the local muffler shop yesterday (Friday). 90 minutes or so for them. Dude said it wasn't too tough, but probably not something most folks would like to do on their backs.

Car is a June 2016 build. I'm running Dinan Stage 2. Had it from 1,200ish miles until now (about 11,000 miles). No other mods.

First impression was I couldn't tell anything. But, it was pouring rain, obviously super wet out, and I'm running crappy Blizzak LM60 winters all around. Took her out for some driving today and that impression changed. When routine driving, there was no discernible sound difference, which is great for me. The last thing I wanted was annoying most of the time. The performance exhaust on my previous 335 droned . This morning, I noticed a little extra sound when my right foot got pretty heavy. Then I realized I was still in comfort mode. Bumped her to sport and there was an obvious change. Put the window down and it's far more noticeable. I can't say my butt dyno notices much, but my ears do. I did notice what might be a smoother transition from 2nd gear to 3rd, but that could just be an artifact of this being novel. She growls nicely when I jump on her. Even the wife noticed (I hadn't told her about the mod).

I start her up inside the garage and do not sense any smell at all. No CEL either. For me, it's a win. Nice and quiet for daily driving, then she gets serious when I ask her to be naughty. Just how I want her to be.

Thank you for the review! I'm glad to see the downpipe is everything you were hoping for. You should definitely post some videos as well!

Nice, I am running Dinan stage 2 as well with a CAI. I had the same problem. Been raining so much here on the west Coast I had to wait to really push the car til where i noticed the power much more.

The rain on the west coast is absolutely insane. Hopefully it clears up soon and for good!

Mine has been ordered - with all these reviews I can't wait to add my review to the list! Have there been any other Aussie reviewers?

Finally got my winter shoes off, but I'm still having problems keeping traction . Hopefully I'll get accustomed to the sound, quickness, and torque and I won't have to keep stopping for fuel every 2-3 days

Both bobby and Mike are very helpful. I think this is the best mod ive ever gotten from what ive installed on my m235i and 135i. I do love my carbon fiber tips from fabspeed but the sport cat i think is a must.
