Hey guys,

Quick one.

My JB4 is away getting repaired. If I were to fit my catless DP on the car without the JB4 ill get a CEL.

Can I clear this with my ODB Reader, and will it cause any damage to run the DP without the JB4? I thought the car will run leaner/richer due to the O2 sensor or will it stop doing that once the CEL is cleared?

As i was once told, the Catless DP will not hurt the car without JB4. It will cause a CEL but as soon as you get your JB4 back it will clear. I had my JB4 disconnected at the OBD2 port as i coded my car recently and my CEL popped up almost immediately. As soon as i plugged in the JB4 it removed the code.

Just a warning, car will run fine with no damages done

Sometimes I drive around with the JB4 in map 0 (off) because it's my DD and drives alot smoother with the JB4 off.. CEL pops on for catless DP and no issues with the car at all. Sport modes work with CEL as well. I'm FBO as well.

From what I've been told, everything should run fine except you will get the CEL. Hopefully, this is the case as well since I'll be running catless for a few weeks before getting my tune.

Hmm, so had the DP fitted. Have not gotten a CEL yet.....

Sometimes takes a couple miles to pop up. Heard like 50 miles and then it pops.

I have seen it lasting up to 100 miles with some customers

Yep your right, It came.

Cleared it with an odb2 reader. It will come back tho, now I have to wait for my jb4 to arrive
