Maf delete question
Currently running the jb4 with a maf delete on my m235i. It makes the car run much more smoothly with the aftermarket intake.
My question is, if I turn the jb4 on map zero or uninstall it, then should I plug the mad back in? Will airflow not be properly monitored if I do not? |

On the contrary, can you just leave the MAF plugged in with the factory plug itself? That way if you do revert to map "0" or uninstall the unit, you won't "forget"? Or will it enable MAF on the JB4, if it's plugged in?
Just getting my feet wet as I prepare to install mine come spring Thanks

I would imagine there has to be some sort of fail safe. If your maf ever went when you were driving on the highway it would need some sort of fail safe so you could run the car until it was safe to pull over. I remember the maf went one time on my father's pathfinder. Basically cut most/all power and I had to pull over. |
