just turn the car off, pop hood. put ur keys away from the car, put it on. done.
Even if you fuck it up, you just to restart the car and its fine. Dont unplug power. its not needed.

Too be honest I didn't even wait for the ecu to go to sleep. I just popped the hood when I got home and installed it, then did a few test runs . And my car is running great it's definitely a noticeable improvement. I almost forgot. I'd probably recommend an AFE PRO DRY FILTER if you don't have an cold air intake it really really helps with throttle response. I got mine fro Xtreme Powerhouse for 69 bucks

Question for those who installed the JB+ and had to bring the car in for warranty service.
Did you leave it in,or took it out?I mean you can hardly see it in the engine bay, right. My first warranty visit is coming up this wednesday.Just wondering what you guys did. |

Installed a couple weeks ago
I installed the JB+ a couple weeks ago and am super happy with it. The only thing I've noticed ever since i installed it is that sometimes when I step on it in third for the first time it seems like the turbo doesn't spool up. Anyone else experience anything similar to this?
Thanks to Mike at Xtreme Powerhouse for the speedy delivery of the JB+. |

I installed my JB4 couple of months ago, it was EZ. I didn't disconnect the power but I was very careful around the positive terminal. I ran map 1 for several weeks and then switched to map 5. I'm very happy with it.

I wouldn't say turbo lag. It's almost like the turbo doesn't even spool. I don't feel that kick in the back like I did in first and second. I'll rev it out until about 5k rpm and then shift to 4th and I'll feel that turbo kick again.Normally I can clearly hear the turbo pressure release with my intake, when I let off the throttle, however when this happens I don't hear any of that hiss. It doesn't happen everytime, it's seems to happen when I'm accelerating hard for the first time on a drive.
