Custum build exhuast & resonator delete

Has anyone build an custum exhuast or made an resonator delete in the midpipe?
I was looking at fabspeed resonator bypass midpipe and muffler bypass exhuast but why pay $1500.

Cant you just cut the resonator in the midpipe and put a straight pipe and take the car to a muffler shop and get the catback done.

Please upload pictures on your system.

Yes this is exactly what I have done with my exhaust system. Cost was pretty cheap coming to $280 total with resonator transplant and muffler delete. I would upload my pictures but I just recently moved down to Straya and had to leave my 2er behind.

They literally cut and put a strait pipe where the res is and made a Y-pipe and put a pipe through where the muffler goes.
