I read on the forum that it happened to a members car. I installed my intake almost three weeks ago.. I check it every week when I wash my car and so far there are no signs of any issue. It doesn't sit on the hose like others have said. There is a small gap. The only issue I have is my vacuum line doesn't sit flush. I have an ongoing email with a AFE representative regarding this. He is looking into a remedy to fix that issue. Other than that I love the intake!

Bump for old thread, any updates of the vaccum line fitment? Also is that vaccum line fitment specific to magnum or the momentum? Thanks!

I personally would go with the Momentum one. Looks clean, sounds great and even though it is a little more expensive, it's worth the extra money having a close intake box.

+1 Momentum GT has been very popular, arguably 1 of the better intakes for this platform.
