yea the JB4 actively clears CELs so MAF and catless wont trigger from mods.

I got a cel about one month after installing an intake. Removed the sensor and sprayed it with some MAF cleaner. no cel ever since. That was over 6 months ago.

I been talking with Dinan regards to the CEL lights caused by other brand intakes with open pod filters... and here's some replys I thought made sense..

"No it would not correct for the issues associated with an open air intake. The MAF sensors on the newer cars are extremely sensitive. With an open air design the turbulence created disrupts the sensor and it does not get a clean signal thus throwing a code. You do not have CEL issues with a closed intake system as the sensor is able to grab proper readings from the sensor in its controlled environment within the sealed box. "

Not sure about the hit or miss situations..@BentZero how many km on the car now since the spray of the MAF?

Um, I'd guess about 9,000 miles now since the one and only cel.

Just get the Dinan. It's a good product. Worth every cent on a 45k plus car

@LiuC I have a BMS that I'm debating on selling with about 300 miles if you want it.
