And the flat cerenium is a pain in the add to keep clean. I know this from owners on the g01 x3 page. That's probably why they went with black mirror caps.

Body colour?

I did a Photoshop of my M235i chrome grill surround (well, it's not real chrome anyway, is it?) in the body colour of EB. I also recoloured the front intake vanes from the grey-that-looks-like-primer to EB as well.

I thought that it looked better than CF, and quite an interesting option. I was deterred by the apparent hassle of grille removal/replacement, plus it wasn't clear whether you can remove the surround for easier painting, or would have to mask the vanes. I also thought about painting a small, discreet 'M' tricolour stripe somewhere on the grille surround.

In the end I concluded that there were probably better ways of spending my time, albeit I'd have a unique combination.
