Bumped from Behind
Hello all. Someone has hit the rear end of my car while being parked. It was barely hit as the two outermost points of bumper have some scratching. Unfortunately, it is all the way to the plastic material of the bumper. Should I use some touch up paint or get it repainted? My car is bsm, so it is not too noticeable with the material of the bumper being black too. For reference, I just put red circle of where the scratches would be. It is right on the edge.[IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

It doesn't sound too bad if its not bothering you.
You could touch it up and see how it handles it before deciding to get it repainted. I always back in park and I have a motion sensor camera for this very reason. |

Check with your dealership if they have an association with a dentless paint repair contractor. The one at my dealership does amazing work, but only on the plastic parts. Damage to the sheet metal needs to go to the body sho[.

Paint less dent repair
That is odd. I have a small ding in my bumper and I have the appearance protection plan from BMW and the dealer says they only fix dings on metal panels not plastic
