Thank you that's exactly what I wanted to know how much poke do you get with a 18X9.5et 45 at the rear running 255 on stock suspension. I guess the next question is with a small drop (Dinan) would it be flush due to camber change?

The wheel would poke 11mm, a 255 tire would be stretched to fit the wheel so with a slight drop and applying camber, you should not rub. But to get rear camber you'd need coilovers I believe so you wouldn't get Dinan springs for the drop. The coilovers would provide the drop and how much depends on the system you go with.

Unfortunately, there's no way to give every individual an exact amount of poke when being provide wheel/tire specs. Something as simple as getting an alignment or lowering the car will change the amount of poke from vehicle to vehicle.

Correct, but a bone stock setup, with under 1k miles on the odo is a good indication of poke for a bone stock vehicle. My driveway is slightly angled to one side and I look at that side and honestly, with rolled front fenders and lower/camber, it might clear. The rear though wouldn't. I'd definitely need a good amount of camber or a higher offset.

Surely a 18X8et40 would easily work in the front without a spacer and assuming you're running a 225/40R18 tire. The reason being nearly every 18X8 rim sold by TireRack is in the et38 to et45 range with most being et40 to et45. TireRack is very conservative so I don't know why you'd think a 18X8et40 would require any sort of spacer.

If you're going to put springs on it you can get away with a wider wheel since lowing it will add some camber naturally.
I recommend for the rear: 18x9.5 +45 255 tire Front: 18x8.5 +45 10-15mm spacer 235 tire This is using the specs from the Sportline 8s wheel you mentioned. This should get you pretty flush to the fender. You won't get the concave face up front that you want though. You will only get that with an aggressive front wheel, but that requires much more investment to get to work. Here are those wheels specs I mentioned above before I went with a square setup. Keep in mind this is with a OEM size PSS tires and 12mm spacer up front. H&R springs.

Reading all these opinions on offsets I have a question. I found a set of Rohana's that are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 front offset is 33,front tires are 235-35-19 and rear offset is 38, and rear tires are 265-30-19. Would you be able to shave these wheels to get them to fit without ruining the integrity of the wheels? Stock suspension
Edit: did a small amount of googling, probably a terrible idea |

I have been running 235/35/19 (et35)F and 265/30/19 (et50)R MPSS on completely stock suspension and have had no issues. I know of quite a few other running the same or very similar set-ups as well. in my opinion it fills the wheel well perfectly and there is the slightest bit of poke that you can't even notice unless you look for it. I have never measured it so I can't tell you how much it really pokes out.

Anyone here has these wheel specs ? : Front 8.5J/19 ET35, Rear 9.5J/19 ET45.
Will 235/35 tires rub on these front wheels? 255/30 tires at the rear shouldn't rub right? What about 265/30 at the rear? I have KW's V2 coil overs and I plan to install camber plates up front. Thanks! |

Back guaranteed would rub on anything except stock suspension. I'm running 19x9.5et44 (essentially identical to you) and I have 10mm of poke with 265/30. 255 might cut it close with camber but 265 I don't see fitting even with camber. |

I think with et35 that rolling the fenders would be required to clear. Worst case, you get them and have them shaved down 4mm to et39 at a local machine shop and then you would clear.
