The whole reason I went with a 235i was because of the conservative styling. I would have bought a Civic Type R but I couldn't talk myself past that god awful styling.

People who mod are going to do it anyways. You can add $10k in mods to the M2 in a hurry as well. Besides, with the M2 being offered in only 4 "color" choices and no interior color options at all, it makes it all the more tempting to start modding as an attempt to individualize what would otherwise be a car that has thousands of others exactly like it zipping around the streets.

Beautiful car... EXCEPT for that ridiculously incongruent monstrosity bolted onto the rear. Seriously >>> OMFG.

One of the things I love most about the M240i’s exterior is that it has just enough lines in the right places to make it somewhat aggressive looking without screaming to everyone, “Hey look at me, I’m fast!”. As an older driver, I don’t need or want my car to advertise and have decided against any major mods except the quiet one that adds significant value to the driving experience (Stage 1 Tune) without compromising the mellow exterior profile.

From an aesthetic point of view I have to agree with others, the wide body kit looks awesome but the wing in the back, maybe if it was a third of that size?

But the important thing is it's "your" car, if you like it, enjoy it!
