for a while i really wanted a cayman to be my next car, but at this point im probably going 2 series this year
the cayman is a gorgeous car on the outside. interior personally i dontl ike that much don't like the radio and the style of it. but that said, its a cayman. its gonna drive awesome. but yeah, it is really expensive to buy, even a really lightly optioned cayman non S is in the 60k range, and you probably really want the S or the lack of torque could be bad. i don't think its THAT impractical if you only need 2 seats as it has 2 trunks but still. but seriously if you are even thinking about it i think you'd want the cayman at least for a few years to say you have done it. at $200 extra a month (i'm guessing this is over the same term as the m235i as the "a month" payment strategy is bad if they are extending you out), thats not a bad deal at all. and caymans hold value well, so you could probably sell it sometime through that and not lose much so why not |

i've literally just sold my 981 2014 Porsche Cayman S so i could get the M235i. The main reason i sold is because i want to save some extra cash for the Cayman GT4 which comes out at the end of the year as i have an order on one! I only got my 235i two days ago but i'm finding it an absolute joy to drive so far... It doesn't hold the same weight or presence as the Cayman S, but for twice the price of the 235i (£62,000 is what i paid) it definitely is not twice the car! I'm loving the 235i for a few reasons too.. It's way more comfier, spacious, just as fast, and i don't look as pretentious as a 22 year old driving it about!! The Porsche though is a Porsche and it's just sheer quality, hence the reason I'm going back when the new one arrives! My porsche was remapped, had a full custom wrap, armytrix exhaust, carbon fibre bucket seats and full red interior!

These are the types of cars we all enjoy later in life after we have purchased a house and have money in the bank. You only get the first twenty years working to get ahead. I now enjoy my cars for cash and still drive like I was a hell of a lot younger

I beg to differ about your statement. Many of my friends are in similar situations and are extremely similar in age. (24-27)
