So sometimes when I'm just trying to spray the windshield washers for a quick wipe down the stupid headlight washers come on and spray so much stuff all over the bumper and hood !

I live in So cal so needless to say they cause more of mess than anything else and are completely unnecessary !

How can you engage the windshield spray without engaging the headlight spray?

Yes I have cold weather package

Hi Ramos,

Turn your headlights off or onto the DRL (Daytime Running Lights) setting provided the actual beam lights are not on.

I hope this helps, let me know

Headlight washers only come on with headlights on, and every 3rd time you hit the windshield washer. Like the previous poster said, the easiest way to prevent them from going on, is to have your headlights off. I know no other way to do it, as they are automatic as part of the cold weather package.

You can always code the headlight washer off and it will never come on
