As for the top speed limiter, I stand corrected on tunes (jb4 or dinan) removing the limiter. Autobahn goers and people who track their cars would care about this.

Sounds like everyone on here is either on the Autobahn or the racetrack.

Yes, I definitely will get M PSS one way or another... thanks for the info, I'll get tire patch kit for my PSS tires.... yeah, a bunch of people are telling me even on track can't get up to 155mph

Out of curiosity - is it also a matter of fact in the BMWNA Order Guide, that the 2PG option = staggered PSSs on non-xDrive M235i?

I don't want to derail this thread that is xDrive-specific, but I'm eagerly waiting for delivery of my RWD M235i and - basing on bmwvin.com VIN decoding - I do have the option 2PG 18"M LT/ALY WHEELS DOUBLE SP. 436M/.

In spite of that, neither my dealer or my BMW Poland SA still refrain from giving me 100% guarantee my car indeed will have PSSs (and it's very important to me that it does). Opinions, please (especially EU customers). TIA!

PS. This week is the BW for my car, so it's just a couple of weeks before I actually get it. Can't wait - it'll have been almost 4 weeks since ordering!

Why would they even offer A/S runflats for this car?
Really stupid and it seems to have created large room for error when ordering these cars. Buyers with bad weather conditions should opt for the xdrive models anyways?

well i forget the offset issues and as far as 155mph goes that depends on how close you live to the autobahn. if close make the call to the dealer asap and get the proper tires lol. if you live in the states then dont worry about it just think of it as a leash on your foot i had to see if it could do 155 just cause i was curious to see if it could pull that high. i got it out of my system without going to prison thank goodness.

Yes I am in the states.

CA was not returning my calls and voicemail. After he didn't get back to me for more than 24 hours. I called the sales manager. He said was going to check the order and get back to me.

I contacted my CA about if there was an mistake with my car order, the CA said he will check and get back to me. The second day, he still didn't respond, so after 30 hours after CA said he will check, I called the sales manager, who said I will get a response in a few minutes. So 15 hours after calling the sales manager, I contact the CA again to help me. He said "ok" but still no response on order specs. So after 20 hours since calling the sales manager, I contact BMW customer relations and asked them to help me with the issue. Customer relations said they will contact the dealer and get back to me.

Update. Finally, after calling BMW Customer Relations, and having them contact the dealer, I got a call from New Car sales manager, They did order run-flat all seasons. He said will check with the port(germany? US?) see what they can do about it. He will get back to me tomorrow.

My car is at Bremerhaven Germany port awaiting ship.

They can. The question is will they? Most likely not. The VIN is stamped to match options. Port will make any changes necessary to match the VIN, but not for dealer changes. I think you're stuck if you choose to take the car. Dealer is not going to eat the cost of new wheels and tires.

Same old song we've heard many sing on these forums. Take the car as is or reject it and order a new one. Those are your options.

Nothing is untraceable to BMW. To a dealer yes but not to a BMW FSE.

I have been told all Xdrives summer tires or not have a limiter.

Nope, unless you mean that all BMWs are limited to some point. Go with the mixed tires, and you get the 840 increased top speed. It's then limited to 155 instead of 130, same as the RWD cars.

I think sonicRR is correct chk bmw usa site 235 x drive no increased top speed notation under mixed summer tires ( unlike rwd 235 that has higher top speed notation)

I'd be shocked if dealer didn't fix the problem .

He can conceivably fix the tires installed on the car. He can't change the limiter.

No, he's wrong. See the cut from the ordering guide below.

840 is the increased top speed limiter. Add the summer tires, runflats go away, and the increased top speed is added.

The website is just info, not guaranteed. The ordering guide is what BMW builds to.

Dealer for me was awesome.

My M235xi was an in inventory car when I bought it...It had square all seasons...Told the dealer I wanted a separate winter vs summer set of shoes..

no problem..They fixed it right there on the spot and we got the deal done. I could care less of the limiter is lower.

Driving Blizzak LM60 18's on oem wheels for winter and have Vorsteiner V703 gloss black wheels /PSS staggered tires ready for Spring mounting!!!

Curious what size summer staggered tires are you running?

You can update the vmax up to 10 hours the car has been running. After the 10hr mark it gets locked
