Melbourne Red M235 on Hyper Silver 18" M359

We just finished up this M359 install on our customer's Melbourne Red M235 yesterday.
The customer went with 18x8.5" M359s all around in the standard Hyper Silver finish since the 18x9.5 are unfortunately too aggressive for the rear.
He chose to re-use his OEM tires for this setup.

Overall, perfect flush fitment and no rubbing on OEM suspension!
This will also accommodate a standard drop as well.

The M359 are available in Hyper Silver and Matte Black.
Contact me at Jason@GetYourWheels.com with any questions or interest!

Very clean. I prefer those wheels to the ugly 426's that come with the 235.

The M359's look awesome - nice choice (and I like the hyper-silver).

Exactly, customer didnt love the 436M Ferric Grey wheels that came with the car, and was quite happy after switching to the Hyper Silver M359s, the extra bit of concavity makes quite a difference as well!

Yeah, typo. Not a fan of any of the 2series wheels TBH. Definitely got the short end of the stick with the wheel selection. Without having to drop >$4000 that is.

Love the design Jason (and I love your company even more) but those rears look like they could afford a 5 to 10mm increase in offset, IMO they look a touch too aggressive. Fronts look to fit perfectly though. End of the day, as long as the owner's happy, they're one hell of an improvement over the OEM's.

They are very similar to the OEM 17s that came on my 228i, just a little more concave and bigger of course. I love em...I just think Y spokes look nicer than duel spokes.

That looks great. I would have a fit with the front tires being stretched, but from here it looks perfect otherwise. It looks like it's stock height too.

The rears are slightly aggressive, but they fit flush with the OEM tires with no rubbing. If the car is ever lowered, the wheels will camber in and give a slightly less aggressive fitment.

The customer wanted to reuse his OEM tires which are 225/40/18 in front. If we were getting a new set of tires for the car, we would have gotten him 235/40/18s which fit square.

But under $1000 for a quick upgrade with no need to purchase new tires I think its a pretty great option!

If you would like something that will fit the OEM tires with no stretch, I'd recommend the 18x8 18x9 M310s seen here!

Just want to give a shout out to Jason. It was great customer service, price and the wheels were ready within a week.

Thanks for all the compliments. I didnt have my IND mods on yet when I got the wheels. I'll try to post some pics up soon.

I installed the IND color-matched grill, reflectors and gloss black side mirror caps to compliment the tint and black window trims.

Offset is +38. The wheels come in +35 but Jason had them machined to +38

I reused the OEM tires cause they were Michelins and didnt want to put out the extra money right now to get new Michelins.

Planning on keeping it stock height for now as it's my sister's car. If I end up taking it from her in the future I'll be dropping it.

Do you know if he would be able to machine them to any higher of an offset than +38 *safely*? It does look great but I think I might like a slightly less aggressive setup.

Aren't the fronts 225/40/18? When I got new tires on my M235, the fronts were 225, rears were 245.

If that is a typo, what are the size of the wheels on the front?

To the proud owner - I love the wheels and the design. Reminds me of a 1M and looks as aggressive, very fitting to the character of the vehicle in my opinion.

3mm is the maximum we are are able to shave off without compromising any structural integrity.

I did think it looked a lot like a 1M with those wheels as well!

You are correct, OEM fronts are 225/40/18, corrected the typo.
