Yeah, I know really just wishful thinking, hopefully with the m2 within a few years the fender flares will transfer over either in replica form or OEM retrofit. The m235i has great lines but wider fender arches will take it to the next level. Hoping todo 18x8.5 et 35 front and 18x9 et50, I think in the future with a cheaper set of wheels I want to experiment how to get lower offsets to work maybe with stretched tires, camber ect. it can be done just purely for looks |

We test fitted a 8.5 +45, and it was just a few mm from the strut. The +45 fits, but you wouldnt want to go any closer in than that or you'll have clearance issues. You could probably get away with a 18x9 +38/39 but they'll poke out past the fenders and require stretched tires/fender roll to fit properly. Glad to hear you guys are enjoying the posts, I will keep them updated Quote:
The 18x9 +50 for the rear is pretty conservative, a +38 fits flush on the car, so the +50 will be sunken in a bit You can see how the 18x9 +38 fits in the rear here: Last edited by GetYourWheels; 12-17-2014 at 02:11 PM.. |
