Inconsiderate New Parking Neighbor

So we have this new tenant that was assigned the tandem space next to ours. My fiancé and I have been concerned about one of the new tenants that drives the VW since she never parks correctly and is always on the line, despite all the room she has.

Since it is a tandem spot, I usually park next to her roommate that drives a 335i cab and she parks great, along with the 428i on my right. I've been parking closer to the right side (428i side) because of her horrible parking and to give them more space. But last night I parked normally without thinking about it and this morning around 5:50 AM I come out to my car like this:

And of course, me being the type to notice a hand print on my car noticed the damage right away.

She obviously doesn't care about her car. Looking at her driver side door you can see the damage she has caused on her door from previous events where she has negligently opened her door:

Here is a side view of her car:

Stopped by at the gas station on my way home from work. Since my car is garaged at work the lighting was bad in there also. Here is an outside pic:

My car is a little dusty since it's been 2 weeks since I washed it, so being outside it was easier to spot finger prints on the car that wiped the dust away. Looking closely at the damaged area, I noticed she ran her finger across the area, assuming she was checking the damage after the fact. So this gives me reason to believe she knows what she did.

When I got home today I noticed both cars were gone. So I left a little note for her:

Sent an email with pictures to the onsite property management this morning but they did not respond.

At work I park next to a wall on the driver side, so there is no way this could have happened else where. I've just been going straight to work and home this whole week.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

I'd wig the fuck out. But afterward, I'd approach her myself and resolve it amicably.

Yes, but parking spaces are assigned.
I'm glad my neighbor with the 428i has been parking great.

Can you install a lift to get your car out of harm's way?

The way she parks, the car, and the other resident vehicles. Young professional apartment building. Roommate.

Accurate?

The building is more on the younger side.

A bunch of young people trying to make the Hollywood scene
Their parents probably pay for everything.
Some young people with expensive cars that make me wonder.

i know it sounds stupid, but you might consider getting a foam insulation board and putting it against the side of your car when you park - not quite sure how you'd store that though, lol.

Definitely would bring it up with the neighbor though as you have pretty clear pictures showing he/she is likely the culprit, plus that's a brutal parking job. even if she claims she wanted to park away from the pillar, she's clearly over her line and sticking forward way more than she should be. it'd be almost impossible to open the door and get out without risk of hitting you. sucks dude.

I would be very afraid to park there unless there are other levels or an outside spot you can lean on a line so it faces a passangers side door and clearance for a door swinging open. Hope you get some assistance from management.

I know my female demographic...what can I say.

Lol!

It's LA. I used to have an office in Newport Beach... It was mind boggling. Young people in the middle of the day driving 6-figure cars.

No response from the property manager and I CC'ed her team.
They are probably being careful on how they respond.

I think I'll write a note and leave it on the VW.

This made me cringe. It's a little late, but I was always intrigued by these: http://www.amazon.com/Door-Shox-STAN.../dp/B000XEFKEE

I like to hide up in these pole spots for the extra 3 feet of width but this lovely coworker loves to squeeze me. The perspective is bad, but he's even closer in the rear. Not assigned spots, but he's done it 4-5 times.

Can you confront this driving-challenged coworker? Maybe he/she should stop BACKING INTO the spot.

If you can't get a response, small claims court. Had to do it with one of my neighbors.

Are my pictures enough evidence?

What's funny is I've thought about documenting her parking since day 1, should any issues arise in the future...

I guess I will be now.

That would've been her one redeeming quality.
