Bimmerfest, Fontana Raceway, CA, May 28/29

This was great fun last year, a fantastic collection of cars and BMW-related vendors and activities. I will be going once again this year with my 17 year-old son; anyone else planning to go?

Also, does anyone have an opinion re. which of the two days might be the best? There are certain differences in the scheduling, as you can see here:

go Saturday and both of you can autocross with the SD BMW CCA!

Was there last year, it was a really fun even and a great opportunity to meet some of the forum members

Im going this Saturday along with couple other XPH guys

Saturday will be the busier day for sure. If you like less crowds you are probably better off planning on a Sunday outing.

We will be there both days. Right up in the front of vendor row. Modifications on our rig didn't quite come together as we had hoped with various awning vendor delays. Time just ran out on us. But we will make due with what we got even if it isn't quite perfect. =)

Well if you personally are going to be there I'd like to say hi and thanks for all your solid advice on this forum. Same goes for mike@x-ph.com, even though I am less invested in his products!

Same goes for Dinan, I did not have a chance to meet with you guys during SEMA. I will make sure to say hello this time

I will be there for a few hours on Saturday. Since it's so close I figured I had to make the drive up.

Hmm, still can't make up my mind re. Sat vs. Sun. Sat has autocross, Sun has kart racing, not that either of those is a deal-maker. The features are really quite different on each day. Yes, we had fun yesterday. There are always as many well-tended BMWs in the infield parking lot as there are on display at Bimmerfest.

I went on Sunday which was a bit of a disappointment because many of the vendors didn't show up on the second day, but it was cool to see the cars.

Yes, I got the impression that it was less well attended overall than last year.
