I don't always take my car to the car wash, but when I do, I prefer Handy J.

I've been going to this place for 20 years. I trust them. It's all hand, no machines, but I hear you. Generally speaking, car washes are a bad place to go.

I'm 63 years old with a bum heart and bad knees but I still wash my 228 msport by hand. You young whippersnappers who use car washes ought to be ashamed

Haha! I'm no whippersnapper at 53 years old, but I'm still ashamed of myself for going to the car wash occasionally.

Now that's dirty. Reminds me of how my JCW looked when I drove it in to get my r59 roadster three years ago. I, actually washed it before we drove into Chicago, but a little rain, some snow/slush and five hours of driving makes cars filthy rotten dirty. That's how it is.

My foam bath equipment:
- Ryobi 1700 psi pressure washer from HD
- Chemical guys Torq foam cannon
- Carpro reset intensive car shampoo

You can read about review of the soap here.

I have CQuartz finest on my car so the foam did not stick that well like pictures in that review.

But neither does dirt and other stuff. I have SwissWax Sealant on mine and it's the same thing. Stuff just slides right off.
