I had just broken mine for the second time.
First on a dirt road, last in a flooded road.
Too much lower and too much sloping

Now i'm in doubt to mount the lightweight or nothing at all

I would love to get a splitter, they certainly look great but they just seem to get damaged so easily.

I started this thread and since I fixed it the first time this happened! Lol though I do not regret buying a perf splitter it looks so good and takes most abuse without a sign of damage , I hit a man hole cover that was sticking up out of the ground about 4 inches , cracked and split still I was able to fit it to where you cant even tell! $3 is all it cost for some epoxy and had some double sided tape to reinstall ! Don't let the inevitable damage stop anyone who is looking at one

I go back and forth....I didn't get the Parking Package on my car, and I feel that the front parking sensors are pretty much a necessity when getting a splitter.

During my build that was exactly the reason I opted the driver assistance package. It has saved my splitter's ass several times. I always go slow on any bump and slopes that come a cross. I would definitely recommend it if you're lowering your 2ers.

See I don't have the problem with pulling up to far and such that the parking sensors would help with . The roads where I drive are sometimes so bad that the road itself is what's damaging the splitter , all you can do is pay attention to what the road looks like !

Guys, sorry to bump this thread.. I had the same thing happen to my M Performance lip on std ride height 3 DAYS after fitting!

Anyway, the plastic bit this spoiler mounts to - does anyone know the part number? I can't find it on RealOEM and mine has cracked completely

I won't be putting this back on, especially as I plan to lower the car..

Thanks, Richard

Thanks, but in the picture Richy_Boy posted, the cracked piece of plastic , I was under the assumption that it was part of the under tray assembly? Or is that an actual piece of the M Per lip assy?

Ok so after about 4 hours on all OEM diagram sites I have found the undertray skid plate and of course that piece is no where to be found , I am going to take it off my car and look for a part number on it since it seems like that's the only way, I won't be able to until this upcoming Tuesday as my car is in Florida and I am not , but mine is in 2 pieces so I want to replace it. If anyone has it broken off the car or can jack up their car and look at it maybe the number is on the underside (I'm sure it won't be that easy) could check it and post the number it would end this search Tuesday I will report my findings lol

Is it even worth getting the front lip, even if on stock ride height? I really love the way it looks, but I don't want to be the guy who has to crawl into every driveway or over every speed bump just to avoid ripping it off the front.
