s1uma1 , I guess just the wheels mostly. Your current setup looks so stock and sporty and elegant, that example just seems overmodded. I really feel like if someone did this: in Alpine White it would look amazing.

But then again it is all personal taste so might just be me. At any rate, beautiful car, absolutely beautiful color combination, and excited to see what you do with it. Congrats!

OP, another question, how are you liking the coral red compared to say Terra?

I haven't seen terra in person so can't really comment on that, but I think the coral goes very well with the white... my impression is that terra may look nicer in mineral grey...

Have to say I agree with golf234 on his suggestion to not go to overboard on mods...your car is beautiful in stock form...the blue one above would look great in AW.

On a side note for golf234....there is a YouTube review with Nick Murray who does the review in an AW 235 with the Terra leather. You can get a pretty good idea what it's like. I think it looks great with Terra.

I have ordered an M235i Convertible, AW over Terra. They had both colors at the dealer and I thought the red just might be too bright, especially with the top down, in the long run. I was thrilled to find this thread as I want to paint my mirror caps and diffuser body color as well. This car looks fantastic.

unless you have a physical restriction, go manual! Auto may be faster but manual is more fun My EBII M235i agrees.

I just picked up my M235i. I love it. I do not regret going with Auto for this car. The transmission really complements the engine well.

I am afraid to start modding this car. Its going to leave me spending much more than I want to.

OP, How do you like the floor mats? Is it too sticky considering that its rubber. I am on edge on buying the same mats.

I like the floormats. they're not sticky. in fact, they were a little too slippery initially. I'm guessing there must have been some oil from production or something...it's better now though. I just like knowing I don't have to vacuum or shampoo the carpeted floor mats.

Looking good! Great choice with the AWE, it sounds amazing! Supreme is always great to do business with too.

Looking back. I am actually glad I went Auto with this car. For a daily driver, its perfect. I think the automatic transmission compliments the whole experience of the m235i.

Lastly, I still have my S2000 to play around with which in my opinion, possesses the best manual gearbox transmission.

*mini review of AWE Exhaust w/ mid-pipe*
What a difference. MP Exhaust added little to no extra tone with windows up. The AWE Exhaust is basically everything I was hoping for. Aggressive in-cabin sound with windows up, while still being refined and bearable. Windows down and it's actually pretty loud. No drone. Very happy with sound. A quick shout out to SupremePowerParts who did the order and install. Awesome staff. Mechanic was very attentive to the details and made sure everything fit perfect with no contact. Very happy with service. Thanks guys!

5/24/15 - nothing crazy awesome, just Dinan Stage 1 and Dinan Airbox. Hoping to get a Dyno after Stage 2 installed.

Are the floor liners custom or from the dealership? Link would be appreciated.

How do you like the S2000 compared to the M235? I keep thinking about picking up an S2000, play with it for a year or two....then buy an M235 (or M2).

But the 235 seems like it would provide a similarly rewarding experience as the S2000.
