It's exactly what the title says. Its straight from the turbo back. I'd say its quite BMW considering I wanted to reduce the most weight from the car on a budget while being able to bring the most power as possible. Would putting more mandrel bends in the tubing make it more sophisticated? I'm not really sure what you mean by "too unsophisticated"?

It's not the "setup" which I find unsophisticated... It's the sound. Sounds like a Japanese modified car.

So nothing to do with weight loss or anything.

I'd say it does sound like a Japanese modified car considering the Toyota 2JZ GTE is the same displacement and engine layout as the N54/N55. At least you don't have to live with it lol.

Yea but there are plenty of ways around it. I know plenty of guys in Charlotte that are running catless. Luckily, we don't have that in SC.

As for this setup, I really like it, but there's just way too much backfire IMO. When more flash tunes become available, I'd probably turn off the overruns.

Sounds great under throttle, but off throttle it sounds like someone dumped a can of nails into the exhaust.

I like the idea, just too much backfire. If you could dial it back 40% eliminate the backfire i would prob. do it.

I think it sounds stellar. This is one of the reasons why I bought a turbo car. Straight exhaust.

Agreed. But soon enough, when flash tuning becomes more widely available, you'll be able to turn off all the overrun. Then I think this exhaust would sound amazing, especially for the money.
