Anyone know the M240i xDrive will be available in the UK?

I like the rear taillights! Interior has also made a significant improvement in terms of quality it seems. Not sure about the front LED 'Corona Rings' though. They kind of look unfinished.

Digital instrument cluster is a great touch!

Looks like you're right. The overall design looks very much like the current though, including a physical split between the upper and lower part of the gauge:

i agree. probably done to differentiate more from the f30. they need to make it less attractive so people spend more on the "refined" 3er.

Interesting decision to change the dash design a bit (notice the trim pattern is different now).

Will the 240 finally have proper wheels? Ever since the 2er was released, the 235/240 has had those awfully dorky looking wheels.

I have the same combo in my car. It is 100x better than any boring black interior. It exudes both luxury and sportiness at the same time, and always brings compliments.

guessing you have the chestnut? that's a little darker and redder than the picture of the new 2, but I think it's actually nicer. One of the best interiors in a long time!

I do like the orange. It looks like it comes on the M240i. You couldn't get the Valencia orange on the M235i, so this is an improvement!

Updated iDrive and Touchscreen is nice

But the interior Dash Trim looks awkwardly placed (that or i'm just so used to my interior)

I prefer the orange lighting on the Cluster instead of white

With the exception of the LED taillights, there's really not much here that makes me wish for a 2018.

Particularly the gauges. That new style solves the no-backlighting-during-the-day issue, but it's a very Lexus and last-gen WRX solve that isn't distinctive at all to my eyes. It will be interesting to see if the menus include a coding-not-required option for speed and engine temp.

The new dash design is not executed well at all. Lines aren't parallel, and there's too much use of gloss black. The cupholder cover doesn't appear to be very integrated-looking, either.

I'm really surprised that LED headlights are standard, considering how panned they've been in BMW models to date. Plainly BMW is banking on the tech, but these likely won't be a good as the Xenons.

Can't wait for some feedback when these arrive around September.

I think the "lease" folks are gonna be more excited about the LCI than those of us who have purchased, since they are generally looking at replacement sooner. That said, I like the new interior color, the instrument display and iDrive 5.0, but I don't care for the update dash design at all. The new wheels look good. I also like the updated front end air intakes but don't care for the larger kidney grills. Regarding the lights, I think they look okay, but from everything I have read over the past year, the Adaptive Bi Xenon's provide better road lighting than the LED's.

As someone who owns rather than leases, I am most happy only enthusiasts like those of us on these forums would be able to differentiate my 2016 M235i convertible, from a 2017 M240i or a new LCI 2018 M240i even if they were sitting next to each other in a parking lot. While others would like to see BMW take some risks in design updates, I am happy they take a more conservative approach to design updates.

The next question is when will those of us in the US actually see an LCI M240i in our local BMW's sales showroom?

Interesting that they've moved to projector LEDs for this car but most of their others to date have been reflector style, from what I'm aware of. I wonder why the change now. It's been proven that projectors are better. I thought they would have started with that from the get go.

I like the LCI treatment, but wow, that dash. It's like they forgot to finish it.

"A larger kidney grille gives the front end of the new models a wider look and allows it to project a sportier impression. The outer air intakes in the three-section front end are now larger and emphasise the cars’ powerful stance on the road"...

Something wrong with my eyesight 'cause they look the same size as previous years.

Any idea when and how difficult it will be to get ahold of headlights and tailights and drop them into my 235? Wonder if coding will be needed?

I like the look of the M240i. If I wasn't getting an M2 I would not go with the M3 and get this car instead. It's neat-o.
