occasional rattle in rear child seat anchor covers

I used to have an occasional rattle from my child seat anchor covers in the rear seat. When I tap on the rear shelf, you can hear it rattle. is it worth to bring up this issue to the dealership? Meaning, will replacement make any difference, tighter? or should I just put felt strips in where the cover hits the bottom. The cover is pretty loose. It doesn't take any force to open the anchor cover. Any one else hear this rattle?

Run a search - I've seen posts with this, and some fixes.

I have had this problem. I put small pieces of black electrical tape in the spot where the lid clips down. It can take 2-3 pieces. The lids are much more snug though and make no noise for me now. Also can't see the black tape at all since it is on the inside.

My solution was to open it up and anchor two car seats. Since the covers don't close with a carseat anchored, there's no rattle!

However, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this solutuon for anyone who does not have two young kids, and I wouldn't suggest having kids just to fix this issue. The electrical tape solution seems much more practical!
