O.K., come early spring, my wife and I plan to take an extended trip through a number of U.S. States taking designated scenic routes. I'm sure there'll be plenty of twisties there.
Hopefully U.S. po-po are more empathetic to spirited drivers than they are this side of the border.

At least you folks don't have the same English>metric snafu (having tried it, I know the Mounties don't buy that I forgot it was 90 KM, not mph). GTA is Toronto, right? If you are coming down through NY I can recc some good roads on the Western side (Adirondacks and Catskills), but you can't go wrong with any of the 'scenic routes' - just avoid high traffic times or all you see is the back of a boat trailer or Buick.

What is the race mode? Dsc off only? Dsc off & sport+?

Can traction control really be turned all off?

Also can you run low tire pressures for race tires without tpms cutting power?

Race is mode is full dtc/dsc off (press dsc button for 5 sec). Suspension/steering will remain in sport mode while throttle will be in comfort for easier modulation. All forms of traction/stability control will be off....i.e "hoon mode". Sport+ will turn just stability control off (dsc) but traction control (dtc) will remain on. Throttle and suspension will be in sport.

I know if tpms detects too low tire pressure, it will not let you go into sport+. I havent tried dsc/dtc completely off when low tire pressures so im not sure on that one.

all the time! I only soften up the dampers when I know I'm coming up on real bad roads. All other times, my goal is only smiles per gallon!
