Week 23 is the week of June 2nd - June 8th.

If your cars' estimated production completion date is June 5th then it would seem to line up.

And yes, the people on the phone need better training.

I still only have a production number on the website and when I call the help number they say that there is no confirmed production date. The sales guy looked it up on the dealer network and he told me the 23 week also and that i should get a vin aprox 10 days or less out so that should be soon. I hate waiting.....

My dealer told me 6/18 for start of production. Is it wishful thinking to think that perhaps the start of Production for my M235i could get moves to an earlier day.

It probably is wishful thinking. seems as if production is tracking to schedule or slightly behind right now. bmw told me there's a slight back up at port right now too.

Ya can wait for the system to start showing 9/32 9/33 and see what they say

I could not get my Vin until it went in to production. Actually a day after production started.

Haha. Yeah September 33rd seems perfectly reasonable. You just have to convert it from the German calendar.

7 days until it showed up on the shipping website (2wglobal.com) as being loaded onto the ship. 9 days until it reflected as "in transit" on the BMW 800# and website.

The 800# will report 2 additional statuses prior to being shipped out:
"Your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit" (2 days later for me)
"Your vehicle is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel" (an additional 2 days, for me)

My status just changed from in production to being assembled. I did not know they had that status.

Is this from the 1800 or the dealership portal? 1800 has been really inconsistent.

There is a status right before being transported to port that doesn't last very long. Something about waiting for the carrier to pickup the car
