Front Shock Tower Brace - Beneficial?

What are the opinions on installing a front shock tower brace on a new M235i Coupe that I intend to keep for 10 years or so.

Would it be good to do that now, when new, to maintain the structural rigidity of the car? I don't intend to autocross or track the car. Just a daily driver with some sporty driving and hard corners along the way.

Thanks for feedback from those in the know!

The M235 already has the shock towers braced with bars extending to firewall which is the ideal arrangement.

Does anyone even make a more robust/functional aftermarket brace?

I'm awaiting the m235iR catalogue from a race team.

They will be able to offer the CF brace and support bracket.
It will require you to do some modifications to work.

+1

Especially when you consider that 90% of the cars use is on the street, it adds no value or performance in that scenario.

I just added the UR racing front strut bar. Reviews are mixed buy i decided to give it a try. Solid construction, one continuous piece. It does slightly firm up. Its noticeable but some people might complain it does nothing if you dd and drive mostly in traffic. Overall a nice add on for 100$

Good deal, next part on the way. Probably will have to do something about the color of it though.

The link in the above post send me to the seller's Facebook page, where it looks like you can message them to purchase. This might work as a direct link:

https://www.facebook.com/commerce/pr...564420801&rt=9

Regarding price, it looks like it converts to approximately 145USD which doesn't include shipping from what I can assume is Taiwan. Maybe give it a shot and see what they say, you should be able to message them on FB

Send a message to JQuach07 and ask him how he did it and what the costs were.
