Depends what production slot your dealer has available.

Ordered my 328 on 11/14, went into production a day or 2 later.I'm in south Florida. Any ideas on timeframe? When I call the tracking hotline, it says production is expected to be completed on 11/26. Driving me nuts! Any timeframe insight appreciated. Thanks.

I can't see the Track Your Order option on the bmwusa website. I have registered and logged in, but it doesn't look like your screenshot. Instead it looks like the following:

Tracking really is one of the best parts of getting your new car. Agonizing, but so exciting as you see things progress. I was so stoked when I had the webcam up watching my ship sailing into Charleston and knowing my ride was on that ship... amazing

Was bored today so I created a quick production status shortcut phone number...

You can add this to your contact list and then it will call and automatically dial the options and production number so you don't have to do anything...

1 (800) 831-1117,2,,,XXXXXXX,1

where XXXXXXX is your production number....
If you have a VIN I suppose you can do the same and replace the last 1 for a 2 for VIN

On the iphone you need to create a new contact as you can't type "pause" on the keypad directly.

1) go to contacts
2) touch + to create new contact
3) enter 1 (800) 831-1117,2,,,XXXXXXX,1 (replacing XXXXXXX with your prod #)
4) touch "Done"

the "," is what on the iphone shown as "pause" and you can access this buttons by clicking the +*# on the bottom left when editing the contact number.

Now you have "one-touch" production status updates :-D

This is actually pretty awesome. Thanks for taking the time to work out the pauses and timing. I confirmed it is working (I used Android) and have now saved it my contacts list.

Im still at status -111 Order Accepted at AG

Im told I should expect delivery late July, early Aug but I dont know what build week that puts me at.

just a few days after placing my order I managed to watch every single M235 vid and check out every upgrade being sold for it.

now what am I supposed to do to hold me over?

I did the same exact thing. Mine is now on a ship to the west coast. I placed my order in the 3rd of April. Mine will/should arrive early July.

I can't find my ship when I use the link to look it up. BMW says my ship loaded on 7-1-14 in Bremerhaven, Germany. Then deported on 7-2-14 on the Vessel named Don Juan , CA427 is the Voyage #. The estimated arrival date at the Bayonne, NJ Port is 7-16-14. Can anyone help me track my car?

Track Your Vessel

log on to Marine Tracker. Enter the vessel name. Track it. (does not read on open water. Only within a few hundred mines of a shoreline).
WORKS GREAT.
It took my car 4 weeks to land on the east coast. Took another week to get to the dealer 100 miles away.

Status 150 hype!!!

I think the process works a little differently for some people. I placed my order two weeks ago, but the tracking on the BMW website still incorrectly shows my car as a white xDrive and the initial status of "order documented." But today the dealer sent me what he called the "build sheet" which correctly shows a black rwd with all the correct options and a status of "150 - Production Started."

The phone number still says the same thing it said since day one--that my vehicle is "scheduled" for production with no confirmed production date. I used the production number when I set up my website account, and I've been using the production number for the phone too.

I noticed that the build sheet my dealer just sent me contains the VIN and it even appears he used the VIN to access it. The production number does match the one I've been using. I tried using the VIN number on the phone, but it wasn't hearing one of the letters correctly. Then when I tried typing it in on the keypad it said it couldn't find that VIN. I also tried adding a new vehicle on the website using the VIN this time instead of the production number, and it said it couldn't find the VIN. So I tried removing the existing car and then adding using the VIN. It still said it couldn't find it. So I re-added using the production number. This time it asked me for mileage and sale date--neither of which exist yet. I had to log out and back in again for it to show up in the tracking. This time it correctly shows as a black coupe! However, it still just says "order documented." Oh well. Hopefully the website and phone tracking are both behind and the dealer's info is correct that production has started.

I had the same experience going from "no production date" to "in production" with no in-between. Mine caught up 24 hours later on the phone system and a few hours after that online.

It didn't work for me using it this way, so I corrected it and now it works. Here's how I have it on my phone.
Using the production number: 1-800-831-1117,,2,,,,2,,XXXXXXX,,1
Using the last 7 digits of the VIN number: 1-800-831-1117,,2,,,,2,,XXXXXXX,,2
