Others, myself included, are getting 10% or more off at this point. At 4% off, you're still above invoice. Check out the end of the thread here.

And I'm not sure if it's "official guidance", but it's probably better to put questions like this as replies in the same thread, instead of creating new ones.

You can do much better. Was offered 10% off MSRP, no negotiation needed on a new order m240i + base money factor on lease. Ended up going a different route in the end, but it seems that it's not too hard to get a good deal on these.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't DFW similar to perhaps SoCal in that it's got it's own little micro climate in terms of deals on cars? You might be better off if you cast a wider net when looking for a good deal.

+1 for Autobahn in Ft Worth. Only Bimmer dealer in DFW I'll work with, including the new Sewell in Grapevine.
