After it sat for two months at the port, I made it a point to inspect the car before even scheduling a delivery date. Checked it out early yesterday morning and it was fine.

Went to pick it up tonight, and the guy bringing the car out from the service area clipped a curb and damaged a wheel. And of course since the dark wheels are more popular now, they don't have a wheel they can pull off another car and have to order one.

FWIW I refused delivery and have yet to sign anything. I was not taking the car home with any damage. Waited this long - I'm just hoping the wheel is available locally and doesn't have to come from Europe.

Ugh. What a nightmare. So sorry.

Thanks. Fortunately they were able to get a new wheel locally, so as of last night I'm officially a BMW owner. We even got some decent weather to put the top down. Course it's raining now so I have no pics to share.
